Michele Alboreto Signed 1987 Race Used Gloves

1987 Formula 1 Season

Description

Formula 1 collectors and Ferrari fans have the rare opportunity to own a historic pair of race used gloves, worn by 5-times Grand Prix winner and enduring Ferrari legend Michele Alboreto during the 1987 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season.

This scarlet pair of Sparco race gloves show heavy signs of glorious race use and to make them even more special both have been signed by Michele himself.

They are accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from Brenda Vernor, Enzo Ferrari’s famed Personal Secretary and supplied in their original envelope, stamped with Ferrari’s world-famous Prancing Horse emblem.

Whilst 1987 didn’t yield any victories for Alboreto, he did record three top 3 finishes, including 2nd at the season finale in Australia, 3rd in front of Ferrari’s adoring tifosi at Imola and 3rd at Monaco, behind Ayrton Senna. It was shortly after this event that these gloves were shipped to their original owner by Ms. Vernor.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to add these authentic, one-of-a-kind gloves to your motorsport memorabilia collection today. Once they’re sold, they’re gone!
