Sebastian Vettel 2009 “Burned” Gloves

2009 F1 Racing Photoshoot

Description

Here is a pair of Sebastian Vettel gloves with a difference… they aren’t race worn but photoshoot used! In 2009, the eponymous F1 Racing magazine made Seb their cover star for the very first time, accompanying a dramatic image of him on the front cover of their February 2009 issue with the headline “Ready to break into the big league in 2009”. F1 Racing called it correctly – 2009 was indeed a break-through season for “Baby Schumi” and saw him record 4 Grand Prix victories for Red Bull Racing (in China, Great Britain, Japan and Abu Dhabi) on the way to finishing runner-up behind Jenson Button in the Drivers’ Championship.

Sebastian wore these black Puma gloves in a striking image used in the historic cover feature, taking advantage of their Nomex construction to hold a burning globe, whilst maintaining a fixed, ambitious stare into the future. The memorable picture was captured by the talented award-winning British photographer Sam Barker, who led the shoot for F1 Racing.

These remarkable gloves, unsurprisingly, show signs of having been burnt and will be accompanied not only by a copy of the February 2009 issue of F1 Racing and a letter of authenticity from Sam Barker but also by a large glossy print of the historic image he captured of Vettel, who would begin the dominant run of success the following year that culminated in him wining an incredible 4 Formula 1 Drivers’ Titles in-a-row for Red Bull Racing.

Don’t miss this opportunity to add these authentic, one-of-a-kind gloves with unique Sebastian Vettel heritage to your motorsport memorabilia collection today. Once they’re sold, they’re gone forever!
