James Hunt “Rush” Used Boots

£3,000.00

RUSH Movie – 1976 Season

Description

A pair of racing boots and socks worn by James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) in the production of Ron Howard’s 2013 sports-drama, Rush. Based on a true story, the film follows racing icons Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) and James Hunt during their infamous 1976 Formula One season. As their rivalry on and off the track begins to take its toll, a near-fatal injury leaves Lauda fighting for the championship and Hunt in pole position to take the title.

These boots and socks were worn by Hunt at the Formula One circuits throughout the racing season. Made by OMP racing clothing, the black lace-up boots (Men’s UK Size 11) are made from leather with a padded textile lining and a rubber sole. The socks are made from a ribbed elasticated cotton material. There is a handwritten ‘James Hunt’ label located on the inside of each boot. Both the boots and socks remain in excellent production-used condition.

These items are original assets used in the production of the 2013 film RUSH. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
